An offering for March
As we welcome a new month, here’s a short poem about the urge to be more deliberate when seeking that which will satisfy my soul.
In March, find me wherever
there is light. find my gait as heavy
as a eulogy, my touch fragile
as a flower stem.
find the frequency at which I speak
rushed like the last train home.
forgive me—
my soul has so many mouths
to feed.
